The piece
A pair of individually framed white metal Narsinghas inspired by Himachali culture. Each instrument has a sweeping S-shaped form, textured metalwork and a fine chain, set against deep red. The two frames feature different woven patti patterns, giving each piece its own character. Place them together as a wall arrangement or display them in different parts of your home. The price includes both framed pieces.
Cultural context
The Narsingha is a traditional curved horn associated with Himachali deity processions and celebrations. This handcrafted decorative piece brings its familiar shape into your home as a reminder of the culture of the hills.
Craftsmanship
Each Narsingha is arranged and framed by hand in its own gold-toned frame. The silver-coloured white metal stands out against the red backing. Different woven patti patterns bring the pair together through colour while keeping the individual character of each frame.
Care
Display indoors, away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Dust the frame gently with a clean, dry microfibre cloth. For the glazed front, apply a little suitable glass cleaner to the cloth, never directly to the frame. Do not use metal polish, abrasive cleaners or water on the instrument or woven patti.
Product note
Includes two separately framed decorative Narsinghas, not two instruments in one shared frame. Each Narsingha is 12 inches high; each frame measures 12 × 18 inches. These are decorative display pieces, not sold as playable musical instruments. Each piece is made and finished by hand. Colours may look slightly different on your screen.
